Fundraising & Investor Relations Associate

Duration: 6 months with potential for extension

Founded in 2022, Enya Mond is a dynamic DTC fashion brand dedicated to high-quality, ethically sourced products. Our mission is to empower mothers with products that don't compromise on style or practicality. As we expand, we are looking for a resourceful and detail-oriented intern to assist with our fundraising efforts, investor relations, and additional financial strategies. This role offers significant exposure to areas like venture capital, crowdfunding, and debt financing, ideal for BBA or MBA students or recent graduates looking to gain experience in finance and entrepreneurship.

Internship Overview:

The Fundraising & Investor Relations Associate Intern will work closely with the CEO to support all aspects of fundraising, from investor outreach and relations to crowdfunding campaigns and exploring debt options. This is a hands-on role where you will gain real-world experience in various financing strategies for a growing startup.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Investor Pitch Deck Development

• Support the creation and optimization of investor presentations, integrating financial projections, market trends, and growth strategies.
• Conduct industry and competitor research to ensure Enya Mond’s positioning resonates with investors.

2. Market Research & Investor Outreach

• Research and compile lists of potential investors, strategic partners, and angel investors, focusing on those interested in fashion or consumer brands.
• Assist in outreach, scheduling meetings, and preparing briefing materials to support investor conversations.

3. Crowdfunding & Debt Raising Support

• Work with the CEO to explore crowdfunding platforms and develop campaign strategies, including messaging, timelines, and budgeting.
• Conduct preliminary research on debt financing options that align with Enya Mond’s growth objectives, assisting in the evaluation of terms and lenders.
• Prepare supporting materials, financial models, and repayment projections for both crowdfunding and debt financing initiatives.

 

4. Investor Relations & Communication

• Draft monthly investor updates, keeping stakeholders informed of key business milestones and financial progress.
• Organize and manage investor meetings, virtual or in-person, ensuring all follow-up communications and documentation are timely.
• Assist in planning and hosting investor-focused events to build relationships and share Enya Mond’s vision.

 

5. Financial Analysis & Projections

• Support the development of financial models that outline Enya Mond’s growth potential, cost structures, and revenue projections.
• Prepare documentation and answer investor inquiries related to financial projections, company performance, and market positioning.

 

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a BBA or MBA, ideally with a focus on finance, entrepreneurship, or marketing.
• Strong research and analytical skills, with an understanding of financial modeling and market analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for investor correspondence and report writing.
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with an interest in the fashion industry.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
